
A woman in her 80s has died after being struck by a bus in Blackrock, Dublin nine days ago on Wednesday, March 25, reports Breaking News.
The incident happened shortly before 1.10pm on Main Street in Blackrock, where the pedestrian was taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital with serious injuries, reports Breaking News.
She was later pronounced dead on Friday morning, April 3.
An Garda SÃochána confirmed that the coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination will take place, reports Breaking News.
No other injuries were reported in the collision.
Gardaà are appealing to any witnesses to come forward, reports Breaking News.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, from the Main Street and Bath Place area in Blackrock between 12.45pm and 1.15pm on March 25 are asked to share it with investigators.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Blackrock Garda Station, the Garda Confidential Line, or any Garda station, reports Breaking News.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing, according to a Garda statement.
