In County Meath, a person lost their life after being struck by a truck, reports Breaking News.
Around nine o’clock on Friday night, the guy in his 20s was struck on the N2 near Knavinstown in Ashbourne. At the scene, he was declared deceased.
The driver of the truck was unharmed, reports Breaking News.
Saturday morning, a technical assessment of the scene was carried out.
The Gardaí are requesting that anybody who witnessed the collision come forward.
