After a number of false rumours circulated social media from early yesterday, tragically it has now been confirmed that Irish comedian Brendan Grace has died aged 68.
The Dubliner known by many as ‘the Bottler’ had moved to Florida in the early 90s but remained closely tied to Ireland, even owning a pub in Co. Clare.
It had been revealed in recent days that he was battling lung cancer and was in hospital with pneumonia.
After much confusion yesterday, his family confirm that he passed away in the early hours of this morning. RIP
