Fergusson who is best known for Marina, in the BBC sitcom Last Of The Summer Wine.
It is unclear how Ferguson died, but it has been confirmed that she sadly passed away in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Fergusson is also remembered for playing Dorothy Hoyle in Coronation Street.
