A 20-yr-old man was killed yesterday by Storm Éowyn when a tree fell on his car, and the N14 in County Donegal is still blocked, reports RTE.

The event happened at roughly 5:30 am, and Kacper Dudek was declared dead at the scene at Feddyglass, Raphoe.

A post-mortem examination will be performed at Letterkenny University Hospital after his corpse was taken there, reports RTE.

At Feddyglass, where Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are conducting a scene investigation, local diversions are in effect.

To help Mr. Dudek’s family, a Family Liaison Officer has been deployed, reports RTE.

“Heartbreaking” is how Donegal Sinn Féin TD Pearse Doherty defined the Feddyglass tragedy.

Investigations are underway, according to the Gardaí, reports RTE.
