
A woman in her 20s has died after she was struck by a car while walking in south Dublin on Saturday night.
Emergency services attended the scene of the collision on the N11 Bray Road in Loughlinstown at approximately 11.50pm, reports Breaking News.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner has been notified and the scene has been preserved to allow for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local traffic diversions are in place in the area, reports Breaking News.
Gardaà are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who was in the area at the time to come forward. They are particularly keen to hear from road users who may have dashcam or other camera footage from the N11 Bray Road at the time of the incident.
