Trump acolyte Steve Bannon has been indicted on charges of money laundering, fraud, and conspiracy.
The charges relate to an alleged online scheme Mr. Bannon ran to raise money for the construction of another wall along the southern border of the United States. No such wall was ever built, and it is alleged that he personally pocketed most of the funds raised.
Mr. Bannon has been in legal jeopardy for some time, after being indicted for refusing to comply with a subpoena issued by the committee investigating the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
