Two teenagers suffer serious injuries following an incident with fireworks




Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that an investigation is underway after two teenagers were injured following an incident with fireworks over the weekend.

It is understood the two teenagers aged 15 and 17, were injured following an incident on Faussagh Avenue in Cabra, on Saturday evening.

Gardaí say one of the teenagers sustained a serious injury to his eye, whilst the other suffered serious injuries to his hand during the incident.

They added that both injured parties were taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital and the Mater Hospital respectively.

They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
