The mother of a 16-year-old girl in the UK, who was gang raped by three Somalis, has spoken out about the threats and harassment she has faced from over 50 friends and family members of the rapists.
Jane Smith (pseudonym) says she was confronted by over 50 friends and family members of the three men named as Bilal Ahmed, Mowled Omar Yussaf and Muhyadeen Osman, as she entered Manchester Crown Court to hear their sentencing.
Smith says she was forced to enter the court “as if she was a criminal” as dozens of Somalis had gathered in hopes of intimidating or even possibly attacking the mother and her rape survivor daughter.
The three Somalis had lured Smiths daughter to a Victoria Park Hotel in Manchester
on August 9th, 2013 under the pretence of a game of “hide and seek”.
During the two-month trial dozens of members of the Somali community had gathered at the court to attempt to intimidate the woman and her family.
Strangely however, police did not show any interest in dispersing the abusive crowd who shouted threats and slurs at the rape victim and her family.
This is extra peculiar in light of the recent re-jailing of Tommy Robinson for merely reporting outside a court were a Muslim child rape gang was being tried.
Despite the threatening, screeching Somalis holding up banners and attacking the prison van on the day of sentencing, police refrained from making any arrests for some unknown reason.
In a statement to the Sun UK Jane Smith said: “I was frightened throughout and my
husband was frightened. There were so many of them and many of them would
goad me when I walked past and deliberately try to intimidate us.
The three men who lured the vulnerable child to the hotel before orally and vaginally raping her were sentenced to just 10 years.
Some online have commented that members of certain communities in the UK, such as Muslims, are effectively above the law in many respects as police are too freighted of appearing to be politically incorrect or provoking civil disturbance.
