Chaos and civil unrest are being reported in Russia after another shopping center went up in flames.
The Stroypark Mall in the suburb of Balashikha, on the outskirts of Moscow, was heavily damaged by fire over the weekend. This follows a massive fire at the Mega retail complex in Khimki, in northern Moscow, in recent days.
The cause of the fires remains unclear, but many are pointing at sabotage due to the growing discontent among Russian people about the crippling sanctions imposed over the invasion of Ukraine.
According to locals ‘not a day goes by without something burning up.’
