Three Russian brigades reportedly sustained massive losses for nothing during the fight for Klishchiivka and Andriivka, as Ukrainian warriors ended up taking over both strategically significant villages.
According to reports, the 72nd Motorized Rifle Brigade (3rd Army Corps), the 31st Guards VDV Brigade, and the 83rd Guards VDV Brigade effectively ceased to be combat effective following their mauling on the battlefield.
Ukrainian troops continue making small, tactical advances both in the Bakhmut sector and in the southern regions of the country, where the aim is to reach the Sea of Azov and split the remnants of the Russian army in two. Once this is achieved, Ukrainian operators can set about the annihilation of their enemies in a much more orderly fashion.
