Ukraine’s recent missile strike on Russia’s Black Sea Fleet HQ in Crimea has proven to be even more devastating than previously thought, as some of Russia’s top military officers have reportedly been eliminated.
The strike, which involved Storm Shadow weapons, was timed to coincide with a high level meeting of some of Russia’s most senior military commanders.
According to reports, the strike scored no fewer than nine kills and sixteen severely wounded personnel, including Alexander Romanchuk, the Russian general in charge of forces on the critical southeastern front. It is suspected that the strike actually killed many more, but this has yet to be confirmed.
