Ukrainian troops are today reporting inflicting ‘significant losses’ on Russian soldiers attempting to dislodge them from entrenched positions.
The losses were so grievous that the few remaining Russian troops reportedly simply refused to fight.
The latest massacre of Russian troops occurred on the eastern banks of the Dnipro River, where a few hundred valiant Ukrainian Marines have maintained a bridgehead against all odds for about three months now. The Russians have thrown everything at them, to no avail.
All approaches to the bridgehead are, according to sources, littered with the frozen corpses of the fallen Russian soldiers, plus hundreds of metal hulks that once were Russian combat vehicles.
