Ukraine’s blitzkrieg forces full retreat of Russian troops from the Kharkiv sector

Ukraine’s blitzkrieg has forced a full retreat of Russian troops from the Kharkiv sector.

The Ukrainian army launched a two-pronged counter-offensive earlier this week, attacking Kharkiv in the east and Kherson in the south.

The move punched through Russian lines decisively, often encountering little to no resistance, with multiple reports that Russian troops quickly discarded their uniforms and donned civilian clothes in an effort to slip away undetected and survive the onslaught.

Ukraine has so far recaptured around 2,000 sq. km. of territory, retaking crucial towns Balakliia, Kupiansk, and Izyum, all of which were vital to maintaining Russia’s supply lines to the frontlines.

A Russian spokesperson acknowledged Ukraine’s advance but uttered the same propaganda used when Russian units were repulsed from the Kyiv area early in the campaign, in words that amount to ‘we meant for it to end that way all along.’

In reality, Ukraine is crushing the ill-prepared, ill-equipped, low-morale Russian army.
