Bank customers have been seeing transaction increase for quite some time now and it appears to not be ending any time soon.
Ulster Bank customers have been left reeling after a whopping 300% hike in the fee incurred for in-branch transfers and payments.
The massive increase means that customers transferring money from the counter will pay 80c per transaction. The previous fee was just 20c. The bank has confirmed that the receiving account will also be charged 80c for the privilege.
The new fee system will kick in on April 18.
Customers using the banks’s app or website facility will be charged 20c only.
