All traffic has been temporarily suspended in the Suez Canal as a giant container ship remains grounded.
The Ever Given vessel veered off course during a sandstorm while traversing the canal and ended up wedged diagonally, blocking the vital shipping lane of Suez. Efforts to refloat the mammoth ship have so far failed.
Experts have said that it might take days or weeks to get the ship moving again.
