The United States has confirmed the permanent deployment of several thousand additional troops to Poland to bolster NATO’s defensive capabilities.
This is yet another sucker punch for ailing Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has already seen a dramatic expansion of the alliance because of his ill-advised invasion of Ukraine.
The United States will also station additional military equipment and build a massive warehouse for stockpiling and staging purposes.
