There was bad news for employees at Brown Thomas Arnotts as the company confirmed that 150 jobs will be cut due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In an announcement made today, the company confirmed that will hold talks with staff over the coming weeks ahead to discuss the job cuts.
The company say they will be looking to offer voluntary redundancies as well as early retirement for some employees.
They will also be looking to restructure their working hours for employees with shorter working weeks.
