Gardai have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with this morning’s stabbing incident that led to the death of a 28-year-old man.
It is understood the two men were involved in an altercation on New Street, in Waterford city.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area between 3am and 4am today to come forward and contact them on 051- 305300, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
