The Euro 2020 game between Denmark and Finland was suspended last night after Danish player Christian Eriksen collapsed during the match.

There were very worrying scenes as Eriksen collapsed and required CPR. Medical personnel rushed onto the pitch to tend to the 29-yr-old Spurs player.

His face told the story, he looked extremely ill, however it appears as though the medical intervention has worked.

Thankfully, it’s understood that Eriksen is in a stable condition in hospital. He reportedly is sitting up in bed and said to be feeling much better.

Possible theories as to what happened to the player seems to be circling around heart arrhythmia with doctors regulating his heart upon arrival to a hospital in Rigshospitalet, but no official reason has been released at this time.

The only certainty is that the young man was lucky to be where it was when it happened.
