US-bound flight forced to return to Shannon Airport due to disruptive passenger




A US-bound flight was forced to return to Shannon Airport today due to a disruptive passenger.

Aer Lingus flight EI-135 was about two hours into its journey across the Atlantic when the aircraft turned around.

It is understood that the man was interviewed at Shannon Airport but not arrested.

The flight took off for Boston again at 7.30pm.
