The United States of America has confirmed that they will share up to 60 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine around the world.
In a statement White House official Jeff Zients confirmed that the US will share its supplies with other countries.
Zients told reporters that given its strong portfolio of vaccines, the United States of America is to give their supplies of the AstraZeneca vaccine to other nations.
It is understood that the decision comes as the US has yet to approve the vaccine and Zients says it won’t be needed for another several months.
