The US Government’s Advisory Panel has voted overwhelmingly in favour of approving Pfizer and BioNtech’s Covid-19 vaccine.
According to reports in the US the panel’s decision is seen as huge step as the Food ans Drug Administration will now sign off on the vaccine within the coming days.
It is understood that the vote was passed 17 to 4 with the group saying scientific evidence proves that the vaccine will be safe to use on people aged 16 and over.
The decision now more than likely means that the US will begin a mass vaccination programme within the coming days.
