Utterly disgraceful: KBC bank, best known for Roscommon eviction, substantially overcharged no fewer than 3,741 Irish customers and sees Financial Regulator fine them €18.3 MILLION

In what can only be described as truly disgraceful, KBC Bank have been caught red handed in something that will surely destroy their credibility and reputation.

KBC Bank is best known to social media users over a terrible eviction in County Roscommon, which can be read about there.

Many social media users are saying that they’re going to move bank immediately, while others are saying that they will never ever use KBC Bank in Ireland.

The Financial Regulator has fined KBC Bank with €18.3m the entity’s tracker mortgage failures.

The Belgian institution has been accused of ‘serious failings’ in its dealings with tracker mortgages.

The Regulator concluded that KBC had substantially overcharged no fewer than 3,741 customer accounts between June 2008 and October 2019.
