Utterly disgraceful: More than 600 patients are waiting for beds in Irish hospitals




The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) have reported that 606 admitted patients were awaiting beds, reports Breaking News.

408 patients were waiting in emergency rooms, according to the INMO trolley watch, while 198 patients were waiting in other hospital wards.

108 admitted patients were waiting at University Hospital Limerick. 52 were waiting in the emergency department, while 56 were waiting on beds in wards elsewhere in the hospital, reports Breaking News.

There were 55 admitted patients waiting for beds at Cork University Hospital.

Thirty-one were waiting at Tipperary University Hospital, thirty-seven at Mayo University Hospital, and forty-one at Portiuncula Hospital.

There were twenty-one admitted patients waiting for beds at Naas General Hospital, twenty-four at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, and twenty-five at Tallaght University Hospital, reports Breaking News.
