Varadkar aims for 5km limit to be relaxed, construction recommence and outdoor activities to start again from April 5th

The Tanaiste Leo Varadkar says that the government is aiming to lift the 5km limit on April 5th and that construction will more than likely recommence.

Speaking on IrelandAM, he said that along with the above, outdoor activities could start again, which one could take to believe may include some sporting events.

Varadkar said that April 26th will be the next date that the government will look at for further reopening of society but that the situation could change given the rollout of the vaccine.

He said that over the next month, 250,000 to 300,000 vaccines should be administered per week across Ireland.
