The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has come out hard against some people who are receiving the €350 covid-19 payment throughout the lockdown.
Varadkar said that some people who were earning €200 in January and February are now making €350 a week now and that isn’t sustainable.
It’s not yet known when the payment is going to stop or be amended but judging by Varadkar’s comments, that could be over the coming weeks.
