If you are out and about today, make sure to leave those heavy coats at home as temperatures are expected to reach up to 18C in places.
Met Eireann have said that the day will be mild and mostly dry.
While northwestern areas will see highs of 13 or 14C, most of inland Munster and Leinster will bask in milder 15 to 17C temperatures, with the possibility of 18C in places.
The thermometer will drop slightly over the next few days, but Met Eireann says it will remain mostly dry for the rest of the week.
This pattern will continue into next week.
