Weather is traditionally good the week when children go back to school across Ireland, and this time is no exception.
This week will see a great deal of dry, settled weather, along with a few showers, and temperatures of up to 24C in places.
Today, Monday, started off rather cool in many areas. However, sunshine will soon put an appearance and the thermometer will steadily climb to about 21-22C.
Tuesday is expected to be the best day of the lot, with plenty sunshine forecast, and temperatures reaching a very pleasant 24C.
The rest of the week will see a similar pattern of sunshine and settled conditions, with temperatures ranging from 16-20C and a few showers in between.
Early indications for the weekend forecast plenty rain so enjoy it while it lasts!
