The current spell of warm and summer-like conditions continues today, as Met Eireann is predicting highs of 22C this afternoon.
An area of high pressure over Ireland will keep the weather mild and calm for the next two days, but things are expected to take a turn for the worse by the weekend.
Cloud cover will begin to build tomorrow, Thursday, with temperatures dipping back to about 19C. Friday and Saturday will see showery conditions developing, possibly giving way to a rather wet weekend.
