The weather for the this weekend has been pretty miserable compared to last weekend.
However if you are longer for some summer sun you might not have to wait that long as Met Eireann say dry conditions along with high temperatures are expected next weekend.
According to the National forecaster, the upcoming May Bank Holiday weekend will see higher temperatures as another high pressure will sweep across the country with temperatures potentially reaching 19C.
The high temperature will also come with dry conditions and plenty of sunshine throughout, although the odd shower may occur.
The promising outlook comes as a mixed bag is expected early in the week with some heavy showers expected on Wednesday.
However Monday, Tuesday and Thursday will remain relatively dry, but temperatures are expected to be in the low teens with highs of 13 to 15C.
