It may be June, but as you well know that it hasn’t been much of a summer feeling as weather conditions have been pretty miserable throughout.
However if you are longing for some summer sun you may be happy to hear that temperatures will pick up later this week.
According to Met Eireann latest weather charts show that the mercury will rise over the coming days.
The national forecaster says that the best of the weather is expected to come on Thursday as prolonged sunshine and high temperatures are expected throughout the day.
It is believed that the East of the country will see the best of the weather, but there will be plenty of sunshine and highs of between 18 and 25C.
