Weather conditions are expected to remain cold for most of this week, but Met Eireann says that temperatures are likely to rise just in time for the weekend.
Daytime temperatures are expected to remain in single digits over the next few days, but might rise to highs of 12C-13C by Saturday.
It will be a wet Saturday however, with persistent rain likely for the second half of the day, clearing into showers by Sunday.
