Weather warning in effect for Dublin and the south east

RAIN FEATURE

Met Eireann has issued a status yellow warning this evening, due to heavy rainfall and thundery downpours expected.

Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, and Waterford will be the counties worst affected, with up to 30mm of rain likely to fall during the night.

The risk of flooding is high, according to Met Eireann.

There’s a lot of surface water already out there, so do be careful if you are driving tonight.
