Met Eireann have said that although temperatures will be quite warm today, there is a strong chance of heavy rain and winds for most of the country.
Gusts of winds of up to 70km/h, rough seas, and heavy, rain will persistently travel throughout the country for most of the day.
Southern counties will see the worst of the conditions with Munster proving very wet with strong winds.
Tonight will be mild with rain and wind easing towards the early hours.
