A Status Yellow warning for ice and snow remains in place this evening, as the country keeps experiencing high winds and deep cold.
Wind gusts of up to 110km/h have been registered across western areas today, with thundery showers likely later in the night.
The weather warning will remain in place until Monday morning at least. Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution on the roads in the early hours of tomorrow.
