The national forecaster say the wet and windy weather will be the result of an Atlantic storm tut is expected to hit today. The Forecaster have issued a status yellow weather warning for counties Wexford, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Waterford. The warning will be in place from 3pm today until 6pm tomorrow.
Met Eireann say: “Today will be a blustery, showery day. Showers will be heavy throughout the day and westerly winds will be strong and gusty.
Meanwhile: “Sunday morning will be dry with some early sunshine but with cloud generally increasing.”
They added: “In the afternoon rain will spread from the southwest of Munster, reaching all parts of the country by evening.”
