The coming weekend is expected to be a washout, with strong winds and heavy rain forecast.
Met Eireann has issued a wind warning for several counties this morning as a deep Atlantic depression is on its way to Ireland, coming fom the southwest.
There is a yellow wind warning in place for Wexford, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Waterford. The warning kicked off at 3pm today, and will remain in effect until 6pm on Saturday.
Rough seas and strong winds of up to 90km/h are expected. There will also be rain overnight tonight, clearing up towards Saturday afternoon.
Depending on where the weather front moves to, the unsettled weather could last into Sunday.
