

There’s been absolute consternation over images of thousands of people crammed onto beaches in the south of England on Thursday as temperatures soared to 35c.
British authorities have declared a ‘major incident’ in Bournemouth, after thousands of people had flocked to beaches in soaring temperatures.
Local councilors said there were ‘appalling‘ scenes as the beaches were literally packed with people as temperatures peaked beyond 35C.
Crowds did not maintain any sort of social distance, caused traffic gridlock, littering issues, and anti-social behavior, prompting the intervention of local police.
Many believe that a massive spike in coronavirus cases is now almost certain to follow.
