The White House has released a statement to say that US President Donald Trump will make an official state visit to the UK in June.
Mr. Trump and his wife Melania will attend an official engagement with Queen Elizabeth II during the visit, which will take place in June 3-5. The President is also likely to attend commemorative events for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings that will take place in Portsmouth.
The President had earlier announced intentions to visit Ireland around the same time, but this has not yet been confirmed.
