
Gardaí in Drogheda Co Louth have launched an investigation after fire broke out at a house in the town.
It is understood the investigation comes after a petrol bomb was thrown into the front room of a house in the St Laurence’s Park housing estate.
Although there were no reported injuries following the incident which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, it is believed that a small fire broke out at the house.
Gardaí say an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing and as of yet no arrests have been made.
