The Taoiseach Micheal Martin, Tanaiste Leo Varadkar and Green Party’s Eamon Ryan will have to make a decision today/tonight or tomorrow as to whether or not the country is going to be locked down once more.
It’s not yet known what way they’re going to go but it’s understood that there is real concern over whether or not the country could sustain another lockdown or not from both a financial and psychological point of view.
With more than 48,000 confirmed cases of covid in the Republic, many believe that Martin will enforce Level 5 as a result.
