The European Union Medicines Agency has recommended conditional approval of Johnson & Johnson’s Covid-19 single-dose vaccine.
The injection of Covid-19 is the fourth to be supported in the EU after vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca-Oxford University and Moderna. According to the European Medicines Agency (EMA), it is recommended for people over 18 years old.
The United States, Canada and Bahrain have also approved the vaccine. South Africa is proceeding with an expedited review.
However, France remains debuious about the vaccine with up to 50% of people saying that they’re not going to get it.
