Two weather warnings will remain in effect until tomorrow morning.
A status Orange alert remains in place for the counties of Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo and Clare, where winds are forecast to reach up to 130 km/h in some parts.
And a Yellow warning has been issued for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford. Some gusts are with likely to reach  between 90-110 km/h.
There is also a risk of coastal flooding and high waves tonight, so avoid shorelines for your own safety.
