The €7.1m winning lotto ticket was sold in Leitrim, it has been announced today.
Specifically, the lucky punter purchased the life-changing fortune ticket at Tesco, on the Old Dublin Road, in Carrick-on-Shannon.
The winner picked their own numbers and paid €8 for a multi-draw.
The lucky numbers were 3, 5, 8, 15, 16, and 23. The bonus number was 43.
