A woman was left shocked and surprised after she gave birth to triplets after thinking she had kidney stones.
According to FOX News, the woman Dannette Giltz, from South Dakota, was given the surprise of her life as she unexpectedly gave birth to two girls and a boy on August 10th.
Speaking to KOTA, Mrs Giltz said she was shocked to learn that she was giving birth after presenting at the hospital believing that she had kidney stones.
Mrs Glitz who already has two children revealed that she thought she had kidney stones given that she experienced the similar pain before.
Although doctors discovered she was going into labour, Mrs Glitz and her husband Austin, were given even more of a shock when they learned she was giving birth to three babies despite being initially told she was having twins.
The surprised but delighted mother told the outlet that her husband was left even more confused when staff went looking for a third blanket.
Despite not knowing she was 34 weeks pregnant, Mrs Glitz said she and her husband are ecstatic by the news and are grateful for their family and friends support following the new arrivals.
