A woman has tragically died after a gender reveal stunt went wrong in the US State of Iowa.
According to reports in the US, the 57-year-old woman Pamela Kreimeyer, the child’s grandmother was killed when a piece of debris from a homemade device exploded and hit her in the head.
It is understood device which was meant to spray coloured powder revealing the baby’s gender, exploded like a pipe bomb after the parents to be filled it with gunpowder and sealed the device from the top.
Police in Knoxville, say the deceased woman was sitting 45 feet away from the device when it exploded, however shrapnel was found to have travelled a of 432 feet following the explosion.
