A woman in India was killed by an elephant who then came to her funeral and trampled her body again.
According to the Mirror, 70-year-old Maya Murmu was killed by an escaped elephant while she was out collecting water in Eastern India. After she died her family arranged a funeral but the elephant came back and took her body down from the funeral pyre, trampling it several times before running off into the night.
It is thought that her family went ahead with the funeral after the animal left.
