In what can only be described as absolutely disgraceful, Irish women up and down the country are waiting close to 3 months to get the results of their smear tests.
Thanks to the atrocious efforts of the government to get Ireland’s health sector remotely in line with other countries, and their lacklustre response to the cyber attack, added to their inane response to the global pandemic and you’re left with women waiting 10 agonising weeks to receive the results of their smear.
Many women have taken to social media to declare their fears due to the lengthy delay in turning around their results. Others say that lives are on the line and that it’s all down to Micheal Martin, Leo Varadkar, Stephen Donnelly, Simon Harris and Tony Holohan.
