Frost and fog will linger for a time this morning and into early afternoon. The temperatures might rise up to 5C towards noon, but will quickly sink back down towards evening.
Tonight will be another freezing night, with lows of -1 or -2C, with widespread frost and ice expected.
Sunday will begin dry but a band of rain will sweep in from the Atlantic as the morning progresses, spreading countrywide in the evening.
Milder weather is expected to set in next week, with daytime temperatures forecast to reach 11C in places.
